This record is the reason I started Solar Funeral in 2005. Dismal was a Columbus, Ohio band that was around for about 3 years or so. They did a few short tours through the midwest and to the northeast coast of the US and played in Columbus and Cincinnati a good amount. Dismal was members of The Dead Hate The Living, Killed In Action, and The Awakening. The music is a Swedish / Japanese crustcore hybrid with tinges of Amebix and Celtic Frost here and there. Pre-Nukkehammer/Black Dove/Tomes. We pressed too many of these, I will probably have a few hundred buried with me.

When the moon is gone and the octopods take over, this record will be your only defense. 5 songs, comes with a poster depicting your brutal future. Survival is your torture...heal now or perish!
